I need to set up XP Pro as a server. It will have at minimum, 3 other computers networked to it. I also want at least 2 of the 3 to be able to remote dektop to the server I setup. How do I complete this properly?

Go to the bookstore and buy a copy of Windows XP Inside Out.

For a file server, all you need to do is set up Folders and 'Share'
them. You also need to set up all the accounts on your PC for people
to access these shares and then set permissions for the folders you
created earlier to access them via the Security tab.

To set up Remote Desktop, see properties of My Computer and click on
Remote tab and enable Remote Desktop.
