In terms of reliability, what brand of IDE Hard Drive is your personal
choice?

All good. but I always choose the faster RPM.
My best choice is when it is sold in a special promotion among them

I'm an all Maxtor household in the desktop PCs.. the notebook has a 20gb
Toshiba (but then it's a Toshiba notebook)

In February I got one of the new 8mb cache 7200rpm Maxtor drives and love
it. It really is a lot faster than the 2mb cache versions.

I have had one Maxtor go bad on me, it was RMA'd with great expediency by
Maxtor. Their guarantee policy may not be as good as it once was, but then,
is anyone elses?
