View Full Version : 5.25 Floppy Disk Drive

Group: I changed the BIOS settings and made the 5.25 the
a-drive and the 3.5 the b-drive and rebooted, WinXp then
read the 5.25 floppy. The floppy cables were connected
such that the 5.25 was at the end and the 3.5 was in the
middle. The icons were assigned incorrectly i.e., the
5.25 physical floppy drive had the 3.5 icon and vice
versa. There was one problem with this arrangement,
beside the one I mentioned, if I placed another 5.25
floppy in the drive WinXP would not refresh the floppy
information from the previous read.
