I moved a hard drive from a computer with windows xp home edition to a computer running windows 2000 pro. Now when windows 2000 pro. boots up it reboots itself continuously. Is there a fix other than reformatting the hard drive?

What was on the drive that was taken from the XP computer? What are you
hoping to accomplish with the move? What happens if you remove the drive
that you added?
