help with xp

i have recently purchased microsoft xp home and wish to
change from microsoft 98 2nd edition to xp,but as i am a
complete novice i am having problems doing this.What do i
need to do to change over to xp.

Hello

Getr the full version of Win XP pro and then backup all your
data and then in your system bios make the cdrom the 1st boot device
and boot from the Win X cdrom and follow what it says to do
