How do I copy a CD image. I was sent a zipped file that
is supposed to be an ISO image. When I unzipped it, I
get an "iso-rise" file and a series of files with the
extension of .r00-.r17. I also get a RAR file and an SFV
file. How do I make a CD with these files?

Open the zip folder, rename the ext from zip (or whatever) to iso, then
double click on it. It should attribute itself to your CD burning software,
if it has ISO capabilities. Then place a blank disk in your burining drive,
and have at it. By the way (not accusing you), these kinds of request are
usually ones that deal with downloaded and usually pirated software.

Be warned, you may install something that will cause damage to your Windows,
ensuing a reinstall. I have seen a few where it ruined one's PC.

Just get a program that can handle rar files, like AlZip from:
http://www.alzip.com/

This will extract the contents of those rar files and create the ISO file
that you can then burn to a CD. You do not just drag & drop an ISO to a CD,
so go here to see how to properly burn this file:

Of course one cannot drag and drop an ISO image (it is an an image ya
know!). But if one changes the extension, and they have good burning
software, i.e. Roxio version 5.1+ or 6 platinum, or Nero 5.*, then the icon
of that file will convert to the buring software file type. Then all you
have to do is double click on it, and you are ready to go.

Hi Ed,
Get WinRar and extract all the .rar files, then use a program like Nero to
burn the ISO. Forget changing extensions, just get the Nero demo and burn
the ISO. Now about this pirated software crap, ignore that. I hope it's
pirated!!!
Cheers
