locking location of desktop icons and folders

Does anyone know how to lock down the location of the
icons and folders on the desktop? I like to place them
where I want them, but they keep moving around on me. In
particular, the trash will not stay put.

Suggestions:

Run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

If this doesn't help, download the zip on line 188: (Right hand side)
