View Full Version : Can play, but cannot burn, a DVD

My Tecra S1 has a DVD mutlidrive, which reads and burns DVD-R and DVD-RAM.
Using Video Studio 7, I have created a short DVD movie, and it plays on my home DVD player, as well as the Tecra DVD drive. However, after attempting another longer burn, the DVD multidrive will now only play DVDs, but will not recognize a blank DVD disc -
it says "please insert the correct media", even though I am using a supposedly reliable TDK DVD-R blank disc.

Any thought on how to fix?

Many thanks.

Hi Aly, I am in a similar position with DVD movies. My wife bought me some PAL recordings, and I find that when I attempt to burn them from the file - I get a message saying the clear Disk is full or corrupted. I happen to have DVD+R and
I am thinking it may be confusing the DVD Wizard.
By the way - if you need a good progam set-up go to www.doom9.com but don't leave until you get all of it.
