Swapping Drives on Dell lnspiron 3500

I have recently upgraded my Dell to WinXP Pro from Win98
successfully. Unfortunately I have 3 type drives
(floppy, zip & CDrom) all of which where transferable
previously with Softex bay management SW. I have been
told that WinXP has this hot swap management capability
inhert in the XP version. I am unable to find it for
customizing with my current version containing sp1.
Would deeply appreciate any help anyone can provide
toward solving this problem. The convenience of hot
swaping is obvious. Currently, I must shutdown
completely and reboot with new drive installed.
Hopefully someone can provide some assistance.
