Can anyone tell me where i can obtain a list of all the communication
ports that are open on my computer?

Bring up a CMD prompt and run "netstat -an". That will show you all ports
that are listening.

Sygate.com also has a security scanner that will check your system for
open ports. They have a good firewall too.

There is a scan at www.grc.com look for Shields Up on the
page.
