HI,
I share a USB with my Mac by unplugging it from the USB
hub on the XP box and plugging it into the hub on my Mac.
Whenever I replug it into the XP side, I am told there is
new hardware, my OLD printer now shows up as offline.
Even making it "online" fails to solve the problem, and I
have to delete the printer and reinstall the thing every
time!
I've even tried pwering off the printer, shutting down XP
then reconnecting it all before turning it back on but
the thing thinks it's a different printer! To make
matters worse, the wizard installs the wrong driver.
Anyone know how to share a USB printer with a Mac (OSX)
or make this stop?
