Printer Problems

Hi. I am trying to connect 2 printers, an Epson Photo 820 and an HP Office
Jet 500. Individually They work fine, but when I install the HP after the
Epson is up and working, they stop as well as any application I am trying to
print from. Has anyone encountered an issue like this?

Are you setting the appropriate printer as the default printer
before trying to print?

Gary I use two printers (laser and inkjet) with a AB switch box.
When using this setup I have to turn the switch on the box to the
appropriate printer and (this is important) I have to designate
that printer as the default printer. As long as I use the switch
and set a printer as default everything works well, however if I
don't ........

How are you connecting the printers? Both on separate USB Ports?
