Blocked Attachments in OE, How to view?

When I receive an email with an attachment, OE removes my
access to it as it is deemed unsafe to view. I can't
find any instructions on how to acccess the attachment
when I know that it is safe to open it. I do have Norton
AntiVirus installed on my system. Help appreciated!!!

Is it OE that is blocking the attachment or Norton?
Norton will replace a virus infected attachment with a
text file called "Norton Antivirus Deleted1.txt" or
something of the sort. The text file contains information
about what the attachment was named and what virus it
contained.

OE>Tools>Options>Security Tab. Uncheck: "Do not allow attachments........."
