MS-DOS Access?

I just upgraded to Windows Home XP.

Can someone tell me how to (if it is possible) get acces
to the MS-DOS prompt?

start - run - type "cmd"
or start - myprograms - accessories - command prompt

limited commands - much like 9x, nt and 2k

Start/run type cmd in the window. To find supported
commands, type help.
Instructions for commands follow form x /? where x is a
name such as sfc.
