I have a soundblaster sound card and many times after I get my computer out
of the Sleep mode, the login music doesn't start immediately and couple
times I had in my Event Viewer that request timedout (to play sound on the
soundcard). Sometimes this makes my computer hang until the music is played
as if OS is waiting for soundcard to wake up. In BIOS I have an option to
turn onboard soundblaster emulator on or off, tried both and nothing is
changed. I assume that XP is not using interrupts that this card expects.
Where can I look to fix the problem?
Thanks
