I apologize if this is the wrong News Group for this question. I recently
purchased a HP 794n Desktop, Win XP Pro, with wireless mouse and keyboard. I
like the keyboard but not the mouse. Microsoft has a Wireless Mouse I do
like. My question is: will the MS Mouse work with the HP Keyboard and
Transmitter or do I have to buy MS Wireless Mouse and Keyboard or keep the
Keyboard and Transmitter from HP and have a second Transmitter for the MS
Mouse.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can buy the M$ Wireless Mouse on its own, and keep your keyboard. The
mouse comes with its own controller for which you will need a USB (1 or 2)
port.
