I just installed an additional 128 MB Ram in my HP
desktop and when I power up I hear a ring and three
beeps. Monitor does not turn on, comp freezes.
please Help!

Hi Praveen,
Remove the RAM, try and boot again, it sounds like there is a problem with
the RAM

Just reseat the ram and give it another go and if it don't work do it again.
If you have to do it 4 times, I would keep trying. I seen improper seating
happen many times. And like he said, your ram could be bad.
