Could someone tell me whether it is possible to FTP with
windows XP? I am managing a website. Does Windows have
the ability to upload files or do I have to get a
separate FTP client?

in a DOS window

Or use FileZilla for a good SSH GUI

You could use MS inetrnet explorer, that is free
