View Full Version : I am desperate....

Shaz

please please help! I am getting really frustrated!
Everyone is connected to my computer to print! As I
accidentally deleted my user profile, no one is able to
print!

I have looked in help for copy user profile, I have
followed the instructions, but it is not working! If I
log in as administrator....all my original settings are
there..but everyone is connected to my computer with my
previous username of shaz!

How to I create my old user shaz, with the exact same
settings as when I log in as administrator??

This is what I have tried to do....

I have followed the help instructions to copy a profile.
I have logged in as guest (with administrative rights),
to copy the admin stuff to my new profile shaz. I log
into shaz and it is the exact same as when logging in as
guest (I guess same as the default user)

I then found something on the knowledge base and it said
to copy all the details from the one user across to the
other user, except for the three "ntuser" files, which I
did and it still didn't work when I logged in to the new
account.

Please, I am getting really desperate...any help would be
greatly appreciated!

I would think the easiest would be to just set up printer sharing on a new
account, and make people reconnect to the printer.
