View Full Version : New Nvidia Driver Help Me

Hi. I just downloaded the new nvidia graphics driver. When
I resarted my graphics where set at 4-bit and it wont let
me switch it. Please help thanks

Try using the driver rollback feature in XP.
Open Control Panel/System/Hardware tab and click on the Device Manager
button. Click the + sign next to the Display Adapter item. Right click the
entry for the video card and select Properties/Driver tab. Select the "Roll
back driver" button and follow the prompts. This will roll the driver back
to the previous version that was working.

My personal experience has been lots and lots of trouble with nVidia driver
updates - I don't bother any more.

nVidia's driver updates usually work fine if you download the correct
driver. Many people try to update old 8MB integrated chips with
drivers for new stand alone cards............. ain't gonna work.
