Can't update?

I have AVG Anti-Virus installed on my computer and it seems something is
preventing it from downloading updates, when I click "downlaod updates now".
I have a firewall in place, but even when I turn that off, it still won't
allow any updates to download. Updating any other softwares, I have no
problem, but with AVG it won't allow it. What is wrong? Is something
corrupted?

Hi,

Locate the url.ini file under \program files\grisoft\avg6, open it and add
these servers if they do not already exist:

[SERVER_NAME]
1=free.grisoft.cz
2=ftp.grisoft.com
3=www.grisoft.com
4=akamai_grisoft

[SERVER_URL]
1=http://free.grisoft.cz/softw/60/fe
2=ftp.grisoft.com/pub/softw/60/fe/
3=http://www.grisoft.com/softw/60/fe/
4=http://www.grisoft.com/akm/softw/60/xx/

Close saving changes, then retry updating.

AVG is having overload trouble on the server it provides by default.
You may get on better with an alternate server. Make the lines below
into a text file with Notepad, and use them to replace the existing
url.ini file in Grisoft\AVG6 -that will offer two others -
www.grisoft.com should be more successful
