Thanks, but...
the page doesnīt seem to mention different drives/multiple partitions... I
wanted to start with XP on a new virgin drive, and after some time delete my
old 2k folders on C: I want to be sure to be able to switch during bootup,
and not to mess with disk jumpers a.s.o...

Yes, it will work. Make sure to select "New Installation" and designate
your empty partition as the target installation partition.
