Hi.
I don't know if I am in the right place here, perhaps if
I am on the wrong place someone will direct me to the
right one!
I recently purchased an HP IPAQ 5450 PDA to use with my
desktop PC, running Windows XP Home. The PDA works fine
by itself, but when I place it in it's cradle to
synchronise with my desktop PC, the desktop crashes and
has to be reset. This is such a regular problem that I am
really unable to use the Synchronise function unless it
is the only program running (with Outlook 2002 of
course) - not much good for keeping the PDA up to date.
But even then, it regularly crashes the desktop still. It
caused such a problem earlier this week that the desktop
would not re-boot and Windows had to be repaired from the
Windows Recovery CD, (not good!).
I have installed ActiveSync 3.6 but this does not make
much of an improvement.
Has anybody had similar problems or can anyone help?
Thanks for all offers in advance.
Tim.
