Ensure ACPI is set correctly in the BIOS and then try disabling Plug and
Play in the BIOS (if possible) and then XP should sort out the IRQ sharing
by itself. You may need to do a Repair Installation to get it correct.

Hi Cari,

Thanks for the help, much appreciated; however, everything looks fine in
BIOS and PnP is disabled... I have reinstalled Windows XP twice since I have
gotten it (Dec 02) and still no luck.

Current BIOS settings:
ACPI Suspend State = S1 (Safest but consumes more pwr)
The only other option is S3 (Lower pwr but drivers may not support this
state)
wake on LAN from S5 = Stay Off
Wake on LAN = Stay Off
Wake on PME = Stay Off
Wake on Modem Ring = Stay Off
After Pwr Failure = Stay Off
PnP O/S = No

I have tried reloading BIOS, removing/disabling hardware in device mgr +
rebooting, no luck. I'm not sure what else I can try... If I got a PCI
4-slot USB card, will this bypass the problem, or would I be unable to use
as well? (2.0) I was looking at this at a local store but I didn't see a
driver disk included ($29.95) - When I check my event viewer, I only have
two errors I see frequently (pasted below) but I don't think they have
anything to do with this problem.
