How do I get rid of this Outlook Espress and have my
Yahoo e-mail account as my primary mail account. I can't
even use form email contacts because my new XP upgrade
always goes to Outlook Express. I don't even know what
Outlook Espress is. It ask me what the servers name is
and I put in Yahoo. Maybe that is the wrong answer.
Please, someone how to get rid of this demon, Outlook
Express. This never happened when I had Windows 98SE. I
set Yahoo as my primary email provider in the area that I
could find this setting. Should I completely delete
Outlook Express in a file search or what?

A small handbook you can dip into from time to time is:

The Rough Guide to the Internet by Angus Kennedy
ISBN
1-85828-908-4

It is surprisingly comprehensive and easy to read, and has new edition every
year. You can read more about it here:

Yahoo Mails and Outlook Express are the same thing; don't bother yourself
with the differences at this stage. The book will show you quickly in
simple, step-by-step fashion, how to start using Outlook Express, e.g.
opening your first mail account with Outlook Express. That is where your
"server" comes in. On your computer, a little exploration of Help and
Support (on the Start menu) can also lead you to information of this sort.
Trust me, you will be writing your first e-mail using Outlook Express in no
time.

I also use Yahoo Mail. A free programme, YahooPOPs, downloaded from the
web, copies incoming e-mail received in Yahoo into my Outlook Express inbox.
I have it on all the time.

Hope you find this little information helpful.

Go to Start | Run and type this command, with the quotes and spaces:

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE" /unreg
