my XP computer has 5 accounts on it on one a message
comes up everytime they logon from bullguard saying that
there are virus in about 7 different files, when i do a
search for them they aren't found, is this just a
advertisment for bullguard stored in the computer?
also when we want to get on the internet the desktop icon
will not open AOL, untill recently we could click on the
little AOL icon in the right hand corner to open it, but
now this will not work and the only way it will open is
to click on the AOL icon in the start menu. what is going
on!!??

Charlie;
I know nothing about Bullguard.
From an Administrator account, Scan for viruses online:
http://security.symantec.com/ssc/home.asp?j=1&langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=HNCPPJUIYCZRWEJGSSK
The AOL Desktop icon has probably been corrupted.
Delete the AOL Desktop icon.
Then go to the icon you now use.
Right click the icon.
Click Send to.
Click Desktop, Create Shortcut.

Hello
Sounds like you have a virus, depending on who you use for your
virus scan, you should update the signture files.
