i had win98 instaleed on my c:/ drive and then i
installed winXP but it was installed on my d:/ drive so
noew i have 2 OS's.
can i format the c:/ drive or is there any way to get rid
of the win98?

Hi Dany,
Do not format the C drive as that is likely where the boot files are. If =
your lose them, neither system will boot, and you would have to work =
from the Recovery Console to fix it. Instead, boot WinXP and open =
Windows Explorer to C. Delete the Win98 system folders.
Then edit boot.ini, a hidden system file that is on the root of the boot =
(C) partition to remove the line referencing Win98. You can also do this =
by editing the startup settings on the advanced tab of system properties =
in the control panel.
