Any changes in Internet Options won't take effect until you close IE. For
cleaning temporary internet files, close the browser and use Control Panel
(click link in window for classic view) and double click on Internet
Options. When the cleaning is done, then launch your browser.
NOTE: Cookies appear in the Temporary Internet Files folders even though
they truly do not reside in that location. They are in Documents and
Settings\<your account>\Cookies. These items will not be removed unless you
click the Delete Cookies button in Internet Options or unless you delete
them manually from the Cookies folder.
