After a hard disc crash on installing the new hard disc a
new shortcut appeared on my desktop called 'shutdown'

On opening it says 'No burnin(actual spelling!)create
recovery image NOW' This is followed by a list of 4
options ranging from '1 hour burnin' to '12 hour burnin'

What is this for? What does it do? Do I need to do
something with it or can I ignore it??

Help

It sounds like a reference for a tool that a manufacturer would use to test
a hard drive before it is approved for shipping. If this is a brand new
drive, you may want to contact the manufacturer for more info.
