View Full Version : HD volume name gone - can not access with chkdsk

I posted this earlier with no responces. I have a couple of secondary drives
as slaves, both western digital. I had just put them into a new system and
forgot to plug in the power cable on one. Anyhow one became corrupted as a
result, the other is fine. Shows no volume name in Disk Managment just the
S: assigned to it and it can not be accessed thru explorer or chkdsk. PLEASE
HELP!!! Presently the drive is on an ide cable by itself and its jumpers set
for single drive. I have had other times where WD drives have gone bunkers
if both had the jumpers set the same.
