I'm receiving the MEM_BAD_POINTER error message when I am
trying to install Palm desktop. I'm not sure if it's
related but, the HotSync manager won't give me the option
to choose Local USB for HotSync operations even though
during the installation it asks if I want to use USB or
Serial. Since my cradle is USB, I can't HotSync. I
receive the error message during installation and/or when
I exit the HotSync manager after installation. I also
have received it when removing programs related to the
Palm. This is the only time that I have run into this
error message. Any ideas?
