Closing a cd r so it can be read on any other cd drive

Have copied some photo's to a cd using XP cut and paste.
The photo's are on the cd-r. I now want to close the cd
so I can read the disk on any other computer that has a
cd drive.

I just know the answers going to be simple but I can't
find.
