Change drive designation

How do I change a drive designation. I have 2 CDs and one is D: and the
other is I: I would like it to be D: and E:
I have tries unistalling ans reinsatalling the drives, but to no avail, it
keeps coming back as I:. Is the a registry code I can change to correc this?

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: CHANGE DRIVE LETTER ,
and hit enter. Then click on "Assign, change, or remove a drive letter.
