I forgot my password for the ms office xp...therefore, I
am unable to get into my computer...is there anyway I can
bypass my xp os and create a new password so I don't have
to re-install the os and lose all of my
information...?...you assistance would be huge to
me....and I will have learned my lesson not to get
al "metaphysical" with my password.....just keep it
simple...

thanks,

michael

Or
Reboot to Safe Mode, select Administrator, leave password blank.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select the user and change the password.
If you are using Windows XP Pro and have encrypted data, you may
permanently lose access to the encrypted data.

Here are other options:

After this is resolved, take precautions to not lose the password.

The only way to obtain a lost "Product Key" (or in your terminology, =
"password"),
is to call Microsoft and request a replacement.
