Why are you trying to remove XP home?
Did you upgrade to it from a previous OS? If so and you didn't select to
have the uninstall info saved, then there is so way to uninstall it. Also,
if the previous OS was Windows 9x or ME and you converted your drive to
NTFS, there is no way to uninstall without first changing the file system
back to fat32 with something like partition magic. If XP was installed with
no prior OS installed, then there is nothing to uninstall to.

You can't delete an OS.

Mike,
Just one note, once you convert to NTFS, the previous OS backup is
automatically deleted.

If XP doesn't show up in Add/Remove programs, then you can't go back. Your
only option is to format the hard disk and reinstall your previous operating
system.
