View Full Version : Should I Give Up?

I have asked this question a few times in here without response.
Perhaps no one knows the answer to my problem.
Basically when I click on the video and audio to chat with my
family my whole computer restarts, clicking on this video is just
like hitting the computer restart button.
Is there a flaw in the messenger that noone wants to point out.
Just let me know if it can't be fixed I might just look into another
audio video chat program.
Thanks,
Spock

In all probability you have a "bug". Get Ad Aware and run that and see if
it does not clear up the problem. You can find a Cnet, just go there and
type in Ad Aware in the search.

Greetings Spock,
As I believe has already been mentioned, this *could* be a driver issue, so you may want to
make sure you have all the latest drivers for all the audio and video devices either from
your OEM (aka Dell, Gateway, etc.), WindowsUpdate (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com), or
direct from the manufacturers (http://www.logitech.com, http://www.soundblaster.com, etc.).
If you still encounter further problems, you might want to try Yahoo Messenger as an
equivalent.
