I recently upgraded to XP from 98se. When installing
games and such, it always ask to get out of all the
background stuff and in 98se this was no problem...just
hit CTRL,ALT and DELETE for each item. In XP if I try
this, I get a message that ending these items I will
cause problems. What is the solution???

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi Maynard,

WinXP just gives you the warning message that wasn't prevalent in Win98. =
The effect is the same thing, though you may find that you do not need =
to kill all running tasks in WinXP the way you did in Win98.
