Word 2000

I have got a new PC that was loaded with Windows XP.My
previous system was Windows 98. I had Word 2000 on old
PC, but due to ? I lost all on hard drive. I have
registration No. for Word 2000 but do not have disc as
Word was already loaded. I do not have Word 2000 on new
PC but would like to re-install. Can anyone tell me if I
can do this without the disc.Hoping someone can help,

You will need to purchase a new copy of Microsoft Word. You cannot
install Word 2000 without the installation CD. Since yours was an
OEM installation, Microsoft will not replace the original CD.

If it was already loaded on the previous PC, chances are very high it is an
OEM copy and therefore tied to the first PC on which it was installed, and
cannot be installed on any other, even if uninstalled from the first.
