I have 4 computers in my shop. They are connected
together in a workgroup. 3 are running XP and 1 on 2000.
One is acting as a central spot for keeping data. I am
having problems getting more than 2 computers connected
to a hard drive shared across the work group. The system
is telling me that there are too many users connected and
can not connect. Is there a limit in xp as to the number
of computers that can connect to the shared drive? Could
it be Win2000 that is the problem?

WindowsXP Home supports 5 simultaneous connections.

WindowsXP Pro supports 10 simultaneous connections.
