I just updated from ME to XP.. on two of my computers,
neither of them have sound. Both have Soundblaster live
and drivers are updated.. there are no conflicts in device
manager and it says everything is working properly , yet
no sound. I tried removing and reinstalling. Any one had
this problem? Funny how it could happen on 2 different
computers!
thanks, Seth

yep. me too. i have no idea what the problem is, hopefully someone
will have some info. device manger says it works fine with no
conflicts, but if you go into sound devices in control panel, it says
no sound card installed.

Hello
Well re-move your me drivers for your soundccard and find
out what type of soundcard you have, and then install the XP drivers
for it

Hello
What ever drivers you installed or may have been installed go
to add/remove programs and remove, if not find what type of
sound card you have and download it from there website
