Sound problem.

Hi ;

I installed sound card for my computer and my operating
system is XP. The volume is very low and i changed every
things from SOUND properties but still can not listen
louder. Any idea what is the problem?

What kind ofsound card?
TurtleBeach or SoundBlaster or others?
Also is there a power plug on the speakers?
