Permissions error

Long story short - installed a Lexmark x85 printer
(printer/scanner/copier) - experienced a system crash, pc
would not reboot - tech guy fixed problem using hotfixes.
since that time printer has not operated. unintalled
drivers, upon reinstatllation, receive error
message : "you do not have permission to makes changes to
this printer." Lexmark says its a windows problem; yet,
my administrative rights look ok - the scanner portion of
the printer installs -- have tried everything.
Any ideas?

Hello

What is your OS on your pc and if your using XP make sure
that you have the latest drivers installed keep me posted
