Autoplay problem

I have an external hard drive, and when I turn it on it prompts me to do
something (Open folder, play music, etc.). I've changed the properties so
that it doesn't do this, but it still does. This happens for an Iomega Zip
100 drive too. Is there any way to turn Autoplay off completely?

Thanks, that's helpful but I wasn't specific in my post, I was wondering if
there is anyway to turn it off just for a particular device, I still want
CDs to autoplay. Sorry about that.
