LS120

I have a Matsu****a LS120 super disk drive, with windows xp
Pro, and under hardware manager it shows the driver as

Matsu****a LS120 VER5 00
with:
(Standard floppy disk drives)
as manufater.

I can use the drive with normal disks only, but not with
supers, it says that it needs to be formated but when
formatting options box pops up, all fields are blank and
nothing is available in the drop down lists.

issues :-)

It may not be listed as "supported" in xp, but that doesn't mean it won't
work. An example of this is the 720K diskette. You can still format 720K
disks under xp even though it says it's not supported. Insert a 720K disk.
Open a cmd or command window and type:
format a: /n:9 /t:80
It works.
