Question about search feature in XP...

I have a user that wants to disable Windows XP's ability to search through zip files as it performs a search against a location. I've checked Microsoft's knowledge base but was unable to find an answer to this so i ask you all ... is this something that is
built into XP or is there some way to disable XP's ability to search through archived zip files for faster searches?

Any response to this issue is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Before searching, type at Start >> Run

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

(This will unregister the zipfldr.dll file)
and press enter. After the search is done, type at Start >> Run

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll

(This will again re-register the dll)
