HP scanner

I have a HP scanner model 2100c. I am having trouble
using the software that came with it. I have Win XP home
version OS. It was difficult to install the software as
the computer said it couldn't be installed.I finally got
it installed but the program says scanner not found when
I try to use it. There is a scanner/camera wizard already
on the hard drive and I can scan with it but it is very
limited in what can be done with the finished scan.
Should I delete the wizard that came with XP and try to
reinstall the software from HP? The scanner works fine
with my Win ME OS on my old computer. Any help will be
much appreciated.

Hello

Since you upgraded to XP home you need to go to www.hp.com
and get the drivers that support your new OS, or else you will
always have problems.
