I have a Acer PC with Windows XP preinstalled. This
computer was connected, and well started with XP icons
showing on the desktop. I even installed the antivirus and
acrobat reader. After two days or so I switched on the
computer and received a message as if it was not switched
off correctly and thus started cleaning the file.

The major problem is that I cannot proceed doing the
printing even after I have went through the safe mode.
Please advise as to how can I reinstall xp on the
harddrives.

Hello

Well if you have the XP cdrom you can boot from the cdrom and
re-install XP, provided you back up your data, if you have anything
that needs to be back-up. or see link

You can install XP over itself. This is called a "Repair Install". It
will
install XP in it's original state without effecting your data or
programs
installed. This was called a dirty install with Windows 9X, however with
XP,
this is actually a very clean install. You will have to reapply SP1 and
any/all updates from Windows Update.
