Printer Error on XP

My HP laser jet IIIp was installed okay yesterday on my
Dell 8250 but today was gone and I got an "operation
could not be completed" error message when I tried to
reinstall the printer. It is physically hook-up okay.
Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it? I
don't think I got a virus - I have Norton up to date.

Hello

Try using a win2k driver to install your printer and see what
happens, but that printer should be on your list under printers
in the contraol panel
