no sound

I was having the same problem with Soundblaster after
upgrading to XP. Neither the updates through microsoft
nor the driver downloads from the manufacturer helped at
all. However, I was able to finally fix the problem when
I went to the gateway support site and downloaded the
driver that was available there. If you have a gateway,
maybe that might help.
