External Hard Drive

I just purchased an external hard drive. WHat I
discovered was that it is an internal hard drive in an
external kit. XP won't read the hard drive. I installed
the drivers that were included in the kit but that didn't
do anything. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get
my computer to read my hard drive?

Most, if not all, external hard drives are just standard internal drives
mounted into an external casing, so that's not a surprise.

Perhaps you could provide details of what type of drive it is (Make,
Interface etc.) and what you are seeing so far, then people should be able
to help you further.
